Hey Creamer!

HEY CREAMER

Hey Creamer!

It's been so long and you didn't write,
no phone calls or messages to read at night.
I've noticed that we've been so far away,
and my mornings seem nothing like that latte.

Your sweet scent and warm hellos,
the memories crushed with these jellos.
It's awfully cold without your hug,
I'm hopelessly drenched inside a mug.

I still get scalds from those espressos,
and the very thought of you is my repose.
Coffee shops just don't suit my taste,
those crowded places with just time to waste.

Trying to forget you ain't a piece of cake,
the letters you wrote still kept me awake.
I waited all morning under that dreadful sun,
and watched as the moon and stars were done.

Now that you're gone, I guess it will never be the same,
No matter how hard I resist, I'd always write your name.
Hoping to see you again,
Your Coffee 'til the end
