Thinking of you (Poetry)

Your eyes so true,

like the skies so blue.
Can i ask you this?
Can I think of you?

because every moment felt like a chance,
whenever i felt your angelic hands.
feel the movement,
let it dance.

a reason to smile and to think about
even if it means that I'm out.
Not to notice if I'm not here,
dont worry, hold on, don't fear.

Dont ever despair,
say your name, im willing to dare.
because every word i do, i share.
To let you know how much i care.

I wrote this one two years before Katie Perry debuted her single with the same title. This was one of the poems that caught my friends' attention into thinking that I gotten to be quite a writer. My classmates have known me for being quite a doodler, most of the pages of my high school notebooks were filled with doodles and scribbles. This piece was also included in our school's publication entitled "The Odyssey".
